Produce. Fresh is Best.
Ela Family Farms Peaches. A Colorado jewel. Cut up over cornflakes, with Morning Fresh Dairy whole milk and brown sugar. What’s you summer peach love? Tell us on Facebook.
Roasting vegetables (carrots, parsnips, peppers, onions). On the grill? You bet: Add olive oil, wrap in tin foil, and throw on the grill.
Organic sweet corn from Olatha Farms. A Western slope tradition. And stay tuned for our new veggie video from Mike Anderson.
Lilac bell peppers. Add hummus. Slice these up with the yellow and red peppers and groove on the colors. Then eat them.
Sparkler radishes. Crispy and bright. Slice, dip in salt, it’s summer.
Red butter lettuce. Martha Stewart would approve. Such a beautiful lettuce!
Champagne grapes. Teeny and sweet. Consider these at your next brunch.
Sweet cherry tomatoes. All colors. And when we say sweet we mean it. Slice in half, dice up our daily mozz, some basil…don’t let summer slip away.
Tongues of Fire green beans. Speckled flat beans. The local farms have really jazzed up their offerings with this heirloom bean!
Meat and Seafood. The Truth is in the Taste.
New! Heritage chicken sausages. From Dallas Gilbert out in Bennett, CO. In the freezer.
Ground heritage turkey. Add taco seasoning for an easy taco dinner. Also from Dallas. Both in the freezer.
New! Pedro’s Tenders. Looks like a tenderloin, but cut from the flavorful Pedro steak which makes it a killer deal. Here is a great way to give our Niman Ranch meats a try! $8.99/lb.
Wild Alaskan halibut. Uh-may-zing. A big, flaky fish with a very short season. Pan sauté or grill.
Coho salmon. It’s the season. Quite high in fat, which means flavor. $13.99/lb, a great price.
White truffle lobster salad. Can you tell we have a new staffer from MA? One of a few new lobster recipes Karen has been making. $34.99/lb. (our average serving comes out to about $8-9.)
Lobster Bisque. Made here at Clarkson! A classic New England recipe for lobsta bisque. In the freezer. $11.99/lb.
We’ve got lobsta stock in the freeza too.
Grocery. Not everything, just everything you need.
Three new products for summer enjoyment:
Blood Orange Bitters. From Nantucket, where people like their cocktails. Bitter and sweet, just right in a champagne cocktail. Available only at the Clarkson Store
Balsamela sweet apple vinegar. Show your greens some love. Similar to Balsamic, but with a great cider taste.
Agrumato Extra Virgin Olive Oil with lemon and herbs. Mediterranean flavors. Try this in a cold couscous salad with olives, orange slices, and pine nuts.
