Tequila & Honey Prawn Kabobs
Ingredients.
1 lb. fresh or thawed Sea of Cortez prawns, shells on
½ C smokey tequila (such as Anejo)
2 T. Busy Bee Raw Honey
2 T. fresh lime juice
¼ tsp. hot pepper flakes
1 tsp. fennel seeds
salt and pepper
Directions
For the tequila honey marinade, mix together the tequila, honey, lime juice, hot pepper flakes, fennel seeds and salt and pepper (to taste). Add a little water if you need more marinade. Throw in the prawns and let it all marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
After two hours, slide the prawns through skewers. Grill the kabobs, shells on, for about 6 minutes a side and enjoy!
