Wiener Schnitzel
Ingredients:
4 veal cutlets
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 beaten eggs
bread crumbs
oil or lard
Directions:
Pound 4 of our veal cutlets ($23.99/lb) to 1/4 inch. Dredge cutlets first in 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 tsp. salt until the surface is completely dry. Dip in a bowl filled with 2 beaten eggs to coat. Roll in bread crumbs. Fry the schnitzel in oil or lard (its traditional!) for 4 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan, allow the oil to drain off, and place on a plate with some lemon slices, some potato salad, and a green salad. Done!
